Can you put a whole Orange in a Breville Juicer? (know in details)

You will save a lot of your time if you can put the whole fruit in your juicer. yes?

You can put most orange varieties as a whole in your Breville juicers that have a feed chute size of at least 3 inches in diameter.

The average size of an orange is approximately 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter ( though measurements vary between species). Both centrifugal and masticating juicers can be used to juicer a whole orange.

Even if Breville’s citrus juicers are best for juicing orange, lime, and other citrus fruits, you need to cut your fruits in half to juice. You cant use the whole orange on that type of juicer.

so juicing the whole orange in your Breville juicer depends on your juicer type, orange size, feed chute size,

Navel Oranges

the typical Navel Orange size is 3 to 4 inches across.

Navel oranges are known for their larger size or more juice-making capacity.

Navel oranges are a great choice for juicing because of their large size. This means that you get more juice from less fruit. Since they don’t have seeds (or at least not many),

If I were looking to buy an orange in the winter season when most produce isn’t available, Navel would be my number one pick based on taste alone.

Navel oranges are sweeter than other types of orange, making them perfect for juicing.

Valencia Oranges

 2.7 to 3 inches

Known as the queen orange of Florida, Valencia oranges are one of the most popular and well-known juicing oranges

This particular orange has avid juicers rushing to buy them in the season because of its perfect combination of tarty and sweet juice.

Blood Oranges

closer to 3 inches

Blood oranges are deliciously sweet. Their juice is delicious and pretty sweeter than classic orange juice; it ferments quickly. It should be drunk the same day as juicing to avoid this problem.

The juice is a bit sweeter than that of other orange varieties. This juice should be drinking the same day as it ferments quickly.

Tangerine

2¼ – 2½ inches

People take tangerine peel for asthma, indigestion, clogged arteries, cancer prevention, chemotherapy side effects, colon and rectal cancer, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), liver disease, and lung cancer. Tangerines contain more vitamin A than other oranges.

Type of juicer

Breville produces centrifugal, masticating, and citrus-type juicers.

Centrifugal juicer

You can put the whole orange in the Breville centrifugal juicers that have feed chute around 3 inches in diameter.

Besides, their centrifugal juicer comes with a high-power motor from 850 watts to 13000 watts. Which is enough power to handle the whole orange.

When juicing orange, you need to set your juicer at high speed to juice quickly.

for instance, you can see the below video of a Breville juicer how it can juice the whole orange within a few seconds

This Breville Juice-fountain-plus juice whole orange and apple easily. it was possible as it comes with a 3-inch feed chute and 850 watts motor power.

Masticating juicer

You can put the whole orange in a Breville’s masticating juicer (like the big squeeze model ), which has a feed chute size of around 3 inches in diameter.

But my recommendation will be when you juice .. try to remove the skin off from your orange and put the whole orange in the juicer.

or if you like orange skin, then at least cut it in half or in the quarter with its skin on before juicing.

if you use Big squeeze juicer for juicing a whole orange, you can put its big feed chute. you can see the below video about it.

It still works great. I really enjoy it with daily use. The only problem I hit is with oranges. It gets backed up a bit then pushes the pulp through to the dump jug with a lot of juice inside the pulp. But if I avoid oranges then it’s perfect

* orange size needs to be less than the feed chute size.

So you can choose either a centrifugal or masticating juicer from Breville, but not a citrus juicer, for juicing the whole orange.

Orange skin on or off:

orange peels are not poisonous; however, they may be covered in chemicals if not organically grown. Besides, you will get a bitter taste if you juice them with skin on. If you are aiming for taste over nutritional value, peel away.

seed or no seed :

There is no need to remove orange seeds before juicing. The seeds of apples, orange and pears and lemons are not removed before they are juicing. Our slow juicer can easily process them. The fruit with a very hardcore must remove the core and then extract juice, such as peaches.
