No matter what I do I can’t get the filter out of it. I can get the blade and everything out, but not the strainer. In the 
commercial it shows it in the dishwasher to clean. Anybody own one and know how to get it out?
Btw, what is the crescent for? I guess it’s supposed to be a magnet but it doesn’t stick when I put it in those holes in the blade. What do I do with it?

I have one, and shaved a little skin off once!
I use water and the parts that are listed to go into the dishwasher I do.. but, mostly hand/sink clean and lay out to dry, reassemble and put it away.
